This video bio of an Andean Shaman highlighted Puma’s background as well as his personal mission to share his knowledge and wisdom with a global audience. Since Puma is a global teacher, the music used was grounded in Western symphonic/jazz then layered with Andean flute music, some of it played by Puma himself. The audience should feel like as though they were engaged in an ancient oral tradition, in which stories and wisdom are passed down from generation to generation. To do this, sound effects like a baby crying and lightening and thunder were used to signal the arrival of life and life purpose.
